Recent political events have raised concerns about Americans’ commitment to democracy and the stability of democratic institutions and processes. The states vary greatly in their support and investment in institutional designs and behaviors that are intended to strengthen democracy. We invite substantive politics, policy, management, and methods papers, posters and roundtables that promote our understanding of public policy and politics as well as strengthening access to and positive impacts for citizens from policy and politics.
